Wanderer above the Sea of Fog is a painting by German Romanticist artist Caspar David Friedrich made in 1818. It depicts a man standing upon a rocky precipice with his back to the viewer; he is gazing out on a landscape covered in a thick sea of fog through which other ridges, trees, and mountains pierce, which stretches out into the distance indefinitely. It is a representation of the process of therapy. Therapy is a journey through healing, motivation, concouring avoidance and ultimately providing tools so you can move toward a life of meaning, purpose and contentment.

What to Expect

If you are ready to begin counseling and feel we might be a good match, our journey starts with a free, 15-minute phone consultation. This helps us ensure my practice aligns with your needs.

From there, we will schedule your initial intake appointment and complete the necessary paperwork. During this first session, we will chat about your background and history so I can fully understand your story. Together, we will then design a personalized treatment plan and decide on a session frequency that works for you.

Starting therapy is often the hardest part, and it is completely normal to feel nervous. My priority is to make this process transparent and take the guesswork out of the experience. After all, you are the expert on your own life. I am simply bringing my professional knowledge and experience to collaborate with you and help you achieve your goals.
